Overview / Purpose of the Role:

Lead overall Plan and Launch of Network Operations also support subsequent new service delivery readiness, Customer integrations, Capacity and geography expansions.

Accountable for end to end network Operations delivery capability ramp up and operational delivery readiness for a multi country global network deployment for an IoT Connectivity Enablement Managed Service, ensuring successful launch of new service delivery and ongoing operational delivery and performance

Leading all operational planning and ramp up activity across a full partner eco system for core network, OSS, BSS and CMP designed to provide IOT connectivity enablement  services for a global service offering

Being a leading member of the program team, supporting all other functions to ensure service Launch to required timeframe

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with Design and Build team and architects, building strategy, and project plan for operations ramp up and delivery
  • Input and support into design of IOT service delivery network with focus on ensuring deployment and integration methodologies are robust and operations solutions correctly scaled
  • Manage deployment and ramp up of operational delivery capability and associated people process and tools across multiple global locations
  • Manage Transfer to operations and live service commencement to time and to cost
  • Ensure processes and tools are in place to manage capacity and performance of network and services once live
  • Accountable for all Operation and Maintenance and Support activity ramp up and working closely with program leaders in build and deployment phase.
  • Accountable for readiness to ensure acceptance, network stability and performance on a hosted multi-site deployment
  • Ensure partner eco system and 3rd Party SLA’s are in place and management processes and governance are developed and agreed  
  • Accountable for all aspects including OSS / BSS Billing
  • Responsible for Network delivery quality, contractual service delivery, SLA’s and KPI’s  on launch

Experience Required

  • Experience in managing successful transfer to operations and ramp up of Network service delivery activities across multiple sites for a global network
  • Experience as a leader of operations and support functions in a global organization
  • Have deep operations experience in managing mobile networks, especially core networks for IoT
  • Have extensive operations experience in Intelligent Network, Network Management System and Packet Core
  • Experience of managing hosted and cloud environments and 3rd party solutions
  • Experience in IOT and Mobile network Customer operations  delivery

Educational Requirement:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline, backed by industry experience in the required discipline
